The Limit
She brought up the subject because she wanted children desperately and believed that other methods should be tried because the traditional method had failed, but Marcos was fiercely opposed to it. Despite their differences of opinion, her offer of IVF was enough to push him over the edge (in vitro fertilization). Implanting an egg cell into the uterus after fertilization outside of the body is part of this medical procedure. If Nadya went through with the treatment, Marcos made it clear that he would no longer be there for her.
