Jennifer Lacy
Once you evaluate this female athlete’s family tree, Jennifer Lacy will not surprise you in pursuing a sports career. Seeing as Lee Lacy, her dad, once managed to play major league baseball, there is indeed an athletic talent running through her blood. That being said, Lacy chose basketball and even joined the WNBA in 2006. After so many years of her professional career, she went to play in China for Beijing Shougang. Since 2015, however, she has become a free agent.

It is not unlike many other names on the list because Winifer Fernández plays a sport for a pretty underdog national. We know that the Dominican Republic is happy to see her in its volleyball team! She embodied the Caribbean nation since 2012 and then at the 2016 Olympics carried in Brazil she managed to capture numerous hearts with her outstanding performance. Maybe she did not lead the team to a championship, but nevertheless she is a true treasure! She helped the team snatch the gold medal at the 2017 Bolivarian Games on the plus side at least.
