Problems first arose for the couple during Thanksgiving 2009. Elin found an article on the internet, claiming Tiger had had an affair with Rachel Uchitel whilst on a New York trip. Tiger denied these accusations, and it wasn’t until Elin checked his phone, that she found evidence of his adultery.

A Woman with a Golf Club…Hell Hath No Fury
Elin was so enraged when she discovered proof of Tiger’s wrongdoing that she attacked him with a golf club. Tiger, fortunately, was able to depart in his automobile. However, he had taken sleeping drugs before driving, and his lack of concentration resulted in an accident. He fell near a fire hydrant and was discovered unconscious, amazingly escaping with minor injuries.
